Welcome to fluxEng.com, the research homepage of Bryn A. Martin. My research interest is in biofluid mechanics and biomechanics, and more specifically
in craniospinal hydrodynamics and pathologies of the cerebrospinal fluid system (CSF)
and cranial blood flow. My
[thesis] was focused on a
pathology of the CSF system called syringomyelia.
Additionally, I enjoy R&D of biomedical instrumentation.
I am currently employed as a scientific collaborator in the [Laboratory of
Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology] at [Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne],
Switzerland working under the direction of Prof. [Nikos Stergiopulos].
My Ph.D. thesis work was accomplished under the direction of Dr. [Francis Loth]
at the [University
of Illinois at Chicago] and [University of
Akron] [Biofluids Laboratory].
I am seeking a tenure track faculty position.
